What to Bring
Make sure you have everything you need for a successful launch day. First time launching? We highly reccomend buying a kit, to familiarize yourself with the process.
Launch Day Essentials
- Your Rocket: Fully assembled
- Recovery System: Parachute, streamer, or other recovery device in good condition. Make sure it is properly mounted
- Motors: Appropriate size, keep in mind the size of the field. Extras never hurt
- Igniters: Extra igniters, especially when using Estes
- Wadding: Fire-resistant wadding to protect parachute from ejection heat
- Toolbox:Bring items for quick repairs, like tape, glue, and small tools. Sandpaper and construction paper also come in handy
- Water & Snacks: Stay hydrated and bring a snack for outdoor activities
- Weather-Appropriate Clothing: Dress for the current weather conditions
- Sunscreen & Hat: Protect yourself from sun exposure during outdoor launches
