What to Bring

Make sure you have everything you need for a successful launch day. First time launching? We highly reccomend buying a kit, to familiarize yourself with the process.

Launch Day Essentials

  1. Your Rocket: Fully assembled
  2. Recovery System: Parachute, streamer, or other recovery device in good condition. Make sure it is properly mounted
  3. Motors: Appropriate size, keep in mind the size of the field. Extras never hurt
  4. Igniters: Extra igniters, especially when using Estes
  5. Wadding: Fire-resistant wadding to protect parachute from ejection heat
  6. Toolbox:Bring items for quick repairs, like tape, glue, and small tools. Sandpaper and construction paper also come in handy
  7. Water & Snacks: Stay hydrated and bring a snack for outdoor activities
  8. Weather-Appropriate Clothing: Dress for the current weather conditions
  9. Sunscreen & Hat: Protect yourself from sun exposure during outdoor launches
